Our Final writing assignment and exam
Create a written reflection of who you are as an artist. Refer back to artwork you've made over the whole school year. Together, we've pinpointed some key ideas one should cover when writing about art:
Your final reflection should cover these in detail. Remember: for every claim you make, back it up with at least three examples! Write with detail and precision and take pride in your work: spelling and grammar also count towards quality work.
- Quotes or references to artists you’re inspired by (remember…artists are everywhere! One of my favorite artists illustrated Bugs Bunny)
- Why do you make artwork? Why do you choose to make what you do?
- How do you like to work? What processes or materials do you tend to favor?
- Think about the colors and images you choose. Where do find inspiration?
- How does your artwork impact or challenge your viewer?
Your final reflection should cover these in detail. Remember: for every claim you make, back it up with at least three examples! Write with detail and precision and take pride in your work: spelling and grammar also count towards quality work.
